Trailhead Adventures

Each campground listed here has spots for tents, campers, and RVs. I have identified the ones who list max RV sites on their websites, but I would check with the campgrounds before booking a site if your camper is 30′ or longer.

Firewood availability – Firewood is available to purchase at the camp store at each campground. You would be hard-pressed to drive down any road near Hocking Hills State Park and not find a half dozen houses with firewood available for purchase. Transporting firewood from outside the Hocking Hills region has been banned due to a bug that destroys ash trees.

Old Man’s Cave Campgrounds

Features over 170 sites ranging from primitive to full hookup sites and cabins. The main campground features bathrooms and heated showers, a swimming pool, and an outdoor movie area. The campgrounds also feature primitive walk-in campsites that include fire pits. I recommend bringing a wagon for transporting camping supplies to your site as walk-in sites could be up to a mile walk from your vehicle. Can accommodate campers up to 40′

Logan/Hocking Hill KOA

Accommodating campers from tent sites up to 40-foot campers. The Logan-Hocking Hills KOA campgrounds feature every amenities found at every KOA location including cable TV and WiFi in addition to a camp store, swimming pool, and pavilions. Some additional amenities include an activity room with a ping pong table, a giant connect-four, an RC course, and a gem mine. If you are looking for campground comfort, the Logan KOA is a great pick. Can accommodate campers up to 40′

Jellystone Park – Hocking Hills

Located 20 miles east of Hocking Hills, Jellystone Park Campgrounds at Hocking Hills State Park spans across 45-acres and features a small lake, swimming pool, and nearby hiking trails in addition to a list of amenities. Jellystone is a great location for checking out the nearby Wayne National Forest and other locations east of Hocking Hills. Check with campgrounds on camper accommodations

Campbell Cove Campground

Located near Lake Logan, Campbell Cove hosts 60 campsites ranging from tent campsite to campers. Snag a spot next to the beautiful Lake Logan for the best view. Their website is well laid out and offers an easy check-in option. Can accommodate campers up to 40′

Hocking Hills Adventures

Riverside camping at Hocking Hills Adventures offers endless activities for families who wish to remain active. Hocking Hills Adventures offers rafting and kayaking options, go-kart activities, mini-golf, “splash pad” water playground, and a game room.
