Paine Falls is one of the ten waterfalls located near Cleveland, Ohio.  To reach Paine Falls from the Cleveland area, travel east on I-90 until you reach Exit 205 for Vrooman Road.  Turn right onto Vrooman Road and drive a short distance (less than 0.5 miles) until you reach Carter Road.  Turn left onto Carter Road and follow the road until it intersects with Paine Road, around 1.7 miles.  Turn left onto Paine Road and drive 0.6 miles until you reach Paine Falls Park on your left.

Paine Falls Park features a picnic gazebo,  grills, bathrooms (no running water), and plenty of parking.  The hike down to the falls starts at the east end of the parking lot near the road.  Wood steps lead down to the Paine Falls viewpoint.  The trail is less than 0.2 miles round trip and involves just over 20 feet of elevation gain on the hike back to the parking lot.
